What better way to kick off a summer weekend in Cheyenne? Head downtown to the Depot Plaza to enjoy a different free concert every week from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Chairs are provided, and vendors sell food, lemonade, soft drinks, and beer.

Cheyenne Frontier Days
Cheyenne Frontier Days is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and Western celebration. Known as “The Daddy of ’em All,” it started in 1897 and features 10 days of the world’s best rodeo action (by PCRA –Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) – from bull riding and barrel racing to steer wrestling and team roping. A variety of Western entertainment is also a trademark of Frontier Days, including concerts, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, chuckwagon cook-off, parades, carnival rides and shows, a pancake breakfast, and more.
